Innovative brake pad carrier plate for disc brake pads for commercial vehicles

Dömer has developed an innovative weight- and cost-optimized carrier plate for the disc brake pads for commercial vehicles. The pad carrier plate as developed is compatible with current forms of execution of carrier plates and can replace these without this making adapting of the brake necessary. The pad carrier plate offers a high degree of design-freedom in respect of the selection of the material as well as of additional stiffening and design elements, which can be welded on to the precision-cut carrier plate by laser. The connecting of the brake pad is supported by pins which are pushed through in the punching process or by welded-on connection elements (pins, expanded metal).
